What Are Implant-Retained Overdentures?
An implant-retained overdenture is a custom denture that clips onto 2 dental implants placed in the upper or lower jaw. It stays firmly in place throughout the day — no adhesives, no slipping — while being easy to remove at night for cleaning and maintenance.
This solution bridges the gap between removable dentures and fixed implant bridges, offering more stability without the higher cost of a full-arch restoration.

5 simple, gentle steps
We assess your oral health and jawbone using 3D CBCT scans. This helps us determine if you’re suitable for implant-retained overdentures and how many implants are needed.
2 dental implants are placed in the upper or lower jaw under local anaesthesia or IV sedation. Healing begins immediately.
If you don’t already have a denture, we may provide a temporary option while the implants heal and integrate with your jawbone.
After 3-4 months of healing, we fit your custom-made overdenture. It will securely “snap” into place on the implants, offering comfort and confidence throughout the day.
We’ll provide ongoing care and reviews to ensure your overdenture continues to function beautifully over time.
